Director, Quality Assurance (hybrid)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Director of Quality Assurance (QA), you will be responsible for leading and providing technical direction to the QA team. You will play a critical role in shaping our QA strategy, automation strategy, data quality strategy, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and excellence in our QA process.

Essential Skills

  • Lead and manage the onshore/offshore QA team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement a technical roadmap for QA, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product quality.
  • Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for QA processes and automation.
  • Define strategy to develop and maintain data quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor data quality trends and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient QA solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development and execution of automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Conduct test case reviews, performance optimizations and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA processes and automation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in QA and technology and provide recommendations for adoption.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the QA team and across the organization.
  • Consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Use, protect, and disclose Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards and protects Tandigm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
  • Adhere to and responsible to abide by all information security policies, processes, and/or activities.
  • Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance, with 4 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of data engineering concepts, including data lake, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing QA teams including onshore/offshore.
  • Deep technical expertise in QA methodologies, processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and Snowflake cloud data platform.
  • Experience with SQL, preferably with knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and security best practices for web application development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
